My mothers funeral is on my birthday?

What if anything can make this easier. Im 25 and I was not raised by her, but the last 5 years I have been trying to get her in my life, but she would not have anything to do with me. Other than a few random calls when she was sober, I really havent talked to her. Until I was 12, I wanted nothing but to be with her, and felt unloved. She just had major problems. My aunt scheduled her funeral the same day as my birthday, and I am having a harc time shaking the horrible feeling. I would appreciate some positive imput, or ways I can deal with the 2 days coinciding.
